This scanner does what most of them don't- have a flat lid, so you don't lose the desk space.
Powered by the USB cable alone, which seems to make it a little slower than scanners with a "bulb" element, unless you count warm-up time.
Good enough to scan negatives at 4800x7300 pixels before noise starts on 35mm film.
Scans a bit blurry (i'm a perfectionist) but that was expected from a CIS, one pass from UnsharpMask filter fixes it though.
