HTC Touch2 (unlocked)

The HTC Touch2 features a sleek design. Even as an entry-level device, it offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.2-megapixel camera. Windows Mobile 6.5 brings some nice improvements to the user interface

The Touch2 doesn't support U.S. 3G. Screen is low resolution and there's no accelerometer

With the design improvements and enhancements of Windows Mobile 6.5, the HTC Touch2 makes for a nice smartphone for first-time users. Unfortunately, it's not bound for the U.S. and may not be worth its unlocked price.

HTC Touch Pro2 (Sprint)

The HTC Touch Pro2 for Sprint offers a gorgeous touch screen, a spacious keyboard, and a 3.5 millimeter jack. The Windows Mobile device also features world-roaming capabilities, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS

The smartphone doesn't support international 3G bands. The device is bulky in size and also expensive. GPS acquisition was a bit slow in our tests and ideo streaming wasn't the smoothest

Despite the jaw-dropping price tag, the HTC Touch Pro2 is a powerful smartphone that delivers in performance and features to make it one of the best devices for Sprint's business customers.

The smartphone is heavy and bulky. No U.S. 3G support on this version and it's expensive. Onboard memory is low, and we would have liked an upgraded camera

With a feature set to match its large size, the HTC Touch Pro2 will be a great device for power and business users once it finally hits North America and adds U.S. 3G support.

Photo gallery: HTC Touch Pro2 In the summer of the Palm Pre, Apple iPhone 3GS, Nokia N97, and T-Mobile MyTouch 3G, the Windows Mobile camp has been pretty quite on the touch-screen smartphone front. Features The HTC Touch Pro2's feature set is...

HTC Touch Pro2 (Verizon Wireless)

By Jamie Lendino

Sometimes second-best just isn't quite good enough. Verizon's Touch Pro2 is the second-best of the four carrier models of this phone, after Sprint's. It's also Verizon's second-best Windows Mobile smartphone (after the smoother HTC Imagio) and their ...

Enough screen and keyboard for any application. Classy looks. True world phone

Huge. Windows Mobile 6.1 is old

HTC's Touch Pro2 finds a good home on Verizon, with true world phone capabilities, a proper headphone jack, and top-notch voice quality in addition to its sublime QWERTY keyboard and super-sharp touch screen.

Just like on the HTC Imagio and Sprint Touch Pro2, Verizon's version of the Touch Pro2 really cleans up Windows Mobile's interface. The five-row Touch Pro2 keyboard is excellent in this incarnation; like on the Sprint version, there's a top...

HTC Touch Pro2 (Sprint)

By Sascha Segan

Award: Editor's Choice!

HTC takes the best Windows Mobile phone available today and makes it even better with the Sprint version of the HTC Touch Pro2. Like the T-Mobile version of this phone, the Touch Pro2 is a powerful device with a huge touch screen and a roomy five-row ...

Roomy keyboard. Great screen. World phone. Very good media player. Lots of included software. Gorgeous new address book, calendar, dialer, and home screen applications

Windows Mobile 6.1 is still pretty old. GPS had trouble locking in. Push e-mail kills the battery

The HTC Touch Pro2 is the Cadillac Escalade of smartphones: huge, with almost every feature you can think of. Even better, Sprint's version fixes many of the T-Mobile version's flaws.

Like the T-Mobile version of this phone, the Touch Pro2 is a powerful device with a huge touch screen and a roomy five-row keyboard. The phone's main screen is a vast 3.6-inch, 800-by-480-pixel resistive touch panel, and it slides to the side and...
