Nokia 6555 - silver (AT&T): Nokia 6555 - silver (AT&T) review

By Kent German

The Nokia 6555 offers a stylish and user-friendly design and a broad range of features including Bluetooth, 3G compatibility, and support for AT&T Push-to-Talk network. What's more, we liked the call quality.

The Nokia 6555 had disappointing picture quality, and the speakerphone volume was rather low. It's also missing an FM radio and the battery life was poor.

The Nokia 6555 combines eye-catching design, a generous feature set, and admirable call quality into one satisfying device.

Nokia 6555 Cell Phone

By Alfredo Padilla

Nokia 6555 review: 3G with a flip

By Jan Horalík

Subdued elegance and decent feature set give Nokia 6555 its edge in the crowded midrange. The two quality displays and great keypad provide for comfortable handling, while 3G support adds to the excitement with this elegantly tall and sleek clamshell...

Stylish slender clamshell ; High-quality 2-inch QVGA 16M color TFT display ; Comfortable keyboard ; UMTS and EDGE support ; microSD memory card support up to 4 GB ; Good music player ; Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP profile ; microUSB connector and 2.5mm jack

Shiny surfaces suffer fingertips ; Loose hinge and the "cracking" back cover ; Only 1.3 megapixel camera with rather basic interface ; Memory card slot under the battery ; No FM radio ; No video calls support ; microUSB port is still not widely ...

Nokia 6555 is a midrange 3G-enabled handset, joining the clamshell ranks of the Finnish company. The form factor inevitably brings back memories of the likeable push-to-open Nokia 6131. Nokia 6555 lacks the auto-open functionality but the 3G support ...

With the highly successful KE850 Prada and KU990 Viewty, it's a point taken for LG - users just love their touchscreen handsets with big displays and no keypads. Seeing the next in line was only a matter of time and last summer's announcement LG KS20...
