All About Symbian Review: Nokia N73 Music Edition

By Steve Litchfield

Steve gets to grips with the changes Nokia has made to the N73 for this, its Music Edition.

Staying with hardware for a moment, the main changes for the N73 Music Edition are the welcome addition of a 2GB miniSD card (enough for around 30 CDs worth of music) and the superior AD-41 adapter/stereo headset. The Music Edition firmware...

Music For The Mobile Masses- Nokia N73 Music Edition

From it's dedicated music key to the 3D stereo sound effects you can add to ringtones Nokia have gone out of their way to convince us that the N73 Music edition is a musical expert. But is it? or is it just a bog standard N73 in P.Diddys puffer jacket.

While waiting to get our paws on the Nokia N73 we ended up getting one of the forthcoming variants first the Nokia N73 Music Edition. The N73 Music phone is a tri band data enabled mobile and as seen in the standard N73 it is a rugged little...

An minor upgrade to the N73, the N73 Music Edition includes a 2GB mini-SD card and a new music interface.

A generous 2GB mini-SD card capable of storing up to 1500 songs and a new music interface are at the core of Nokia's upgrade of the N73, the N73 Music Edition. For editing photos and other images, Nokia includes a copy of Adobe Photoshop Starter...

Nokia N73

By David Field

This isn't the phone that you buy for the menial task of calling people.

On the connectivity side of things, it supports full-blown POP3 email, Bluetooth, infra-red, and ships with a connector cable that ends in USB. When you use this, the phone will ask you to pick a specific mode: PC suite mode (which uses the ...

The Nokia N73 is probably one of the most feature packed phones this side of a Blackberry.

Nokia N73

Recently the Nokia N93 roared into town, but it had niche appeal. Its lesser sparring partner, the N73, takes some of its pixel power into the mainstream…

The 3.2-megapixel Carl Zeiss lens takes some delicious-looking snaps and pushes the N93 close for picture performance

The navigation joystick might drive punters to commit hari-kari with its obstinate action, while the pokey keypad doesn't fare much better

The N73 is an expert camera phone and splendid Symbian smartphone. However, usability issues and ordinary design curse its record.

Review: Nokia N73 mobile phone

By David Phelan

Nokia's latest smartphone focuses on multimedia fun, with a music player and a 3.2megapixel camera

Recent Nokia smartphones, like the N80, have included Wifi among their capabilities, paving the way for making VoIP calls on your mobile. Nokia's N series of phones have usually been enormous monsters; powerful and multi-functional, but lumbering...

Nokia N73

There was little to fault the N73 when it came to assessing the photos that it produced. All the shots we took in natural light were as good as many full-sized cameras.

Good camera, Excellent connectivity

Shut down problems

A good phone with a few minor problems

The biggest disadvantage with the N73 is the time it takes for the camera to actually kick in. It has Bluetooth and also comes with a USB cable, and the N73's software works well for setting up a link between it and your PC. The biggest problem we...

Nokia N73 Preview - Mobile Phones

By Jeremy Roche

Nokia's N73 is one of the best camera phones we've seen this year, with a wide range of multimedia and business features tucked under its belt. Responsiveness, however, is not a strong point.

3.2-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens, Uploads photos to Flickr, Beautiful, bright display, Sudoku and 3D Snakes, Excellent Web browser, Lame flash, Cramped keypad, Slow to respond to commands, Windows-only synchronisation

Lame flash, Cramped keypad, Slow to respond to commands, Windows-only synchronisation

Design Part of Nokia's multimedia N series, the N73 is a candy bar-shaped phone with a vibrant, six-centimetre, 262K-colour display. Nokia ships the N73 in three colour variations: silver grey/deep plum, frost white/metallic red and frost...
