Jørgen Sundgot gets blitzed by Nokia's N80 multimedia marvel, a 3 Megapixel camera phone which streams photos around your home over Wi-Fi, dabbles in a business and even plays a tune or two.
Camera resolution; comprehensive image management and connectivity; good battery life
Lacks autofocus; anemic camera interface
Starting off with an impressively razor-sharp and bright high-resolution display with 262K colour depth as its viewfinder, the N80 unfortunately starts falling short of expectations quickly. The camera interface is nearly void of indicators and fails ...
The first Nokia 3 megapixel camera phone, N80, just hit the market. The Sony Ericsson K790/K800 might follow soon and it comes with the famous Cyber-shot logo. We decided that it will be interesting to test the photo capabilities of the two phones ...
For the sake of the comparison we also included Sony Ericsson K750 in this photo review. It is undoubtedly one of the best 2 megapixel camera phones on the market, alongside with its brothers W800 and D750, of course. This way you will be able to ...
The regular Sony Ericsson barSony Ericsson K510 looks just like a normal Sony Ericsson bar phone and cannot surprise in terms of design and construction. Sony Ericsson K510 is a new tri-band bar phone with the classic Sony Ericsson K-series...
This days Nokia presented new model, the N 80.This is very interesting mobile device because it`s not like the other phones. The Nokia N80 reflects and harmonizes work and personal life through leading on-the-go productivity tools, multimedia ...
If All About Symbian has its way, we'll soon be tossing aside our Treo 650s and PPC-6700s in favor of Nokia's upcoming Swiss Army Knife-of-a-smartphone, the N80 slider. AAS rather lovingly compares the N80 to its 2001 ancestor, the 7650, and marvels ...
AAS rather lovingly compares the N80 to its 2001 ancestor, the 7650, and marvels at the amount of change fouryears have wrought on two similar looking devices. A compact little powerhouse, the Series 60 Third Edition-powered N80supports both...
Nokia say that the N80 will be available from Q1 2006 for a price of around 500 euro before subsidy and taxes.
We've been fans of Nokia's Series 60 and S60 smartphones for years. Though they lagged behind the Palm and Pocket PC Phone competition in the bells and whistles category, they offered fantastic usability, great call quality, generally strong reception ...
Great looks, small phone that packs many, many features. Responsive, stable and has the more popular Mini SD slot rather than an RS-MMC slot. The display is super with high resolution, clarity and strong colors. Camera is quite good, video isn't bad. ...
Pricey when purchased without a contract. Voice Command is abysmal. Battery life could be better
An ambitious smartphone that lives up to its feature set; everything works well- from smartphone features, to imaging, WiFi, Bluetooth and a very good camera. Even more unique is that the N80 is quite compact and very stylish, two things that can't be ...
This phone surprised us, we had to take a second look and the more we looked the more we found that we liked. From what we have found this phone is sold as unlocked, so if you need this option this may be a phone to look into.
Nokia added Internet features to the N80 to create the N80ie, which is a pretty powerful multimedia cell phone. Click to Enlarge Mulitmedia Features: The Nokia N80ie is a great multimedia cell phone, if the screen was a bit larger and if we could...
It's impossible to look beyond the to-die-for feature set. It's pretty powerful stuff.
For such a high-end phone the slide action doesn't match up. It's in need of serious lubrication.
If you crave a phone with everything this is for you. There's no doubt that the N80 is an awesome convergence phone, but it has very limited niche appeal.
