Sony Ericsson W350a - white (AT&T) review

By Kent German

The Sony Ericsson W350a offers a Walkman music player and a decent assortment of features including stereo Bluetooth and a brilliant display.

The Sony Ericsson W350a has poorly designed controls and a flimsy construction. Its call quality was unimpressive and the tiny speaker doesn't do its music player justice.

The Sony Ericsson W350a isn't hopeless but it's not our choice for a Walkman phone.

Sony Ericsson W350a When designing cell phones for its Walkman line, Sony Ericsson likes to spread the love around. Like the Sony Ericsson W200a and Sony Ericsson W300i, the W350a delivers on music, but it's not so successful on other fronts. The...

Sony Ericsson W350

By Marianne Schultz

The Sony Ericsson W350 is an ultra-compact GSM phone that's intended to double as your digital music player. To go along with its small size, it has a small screen and an equally-Lilliputian keypad covered by a flip. This flip has buttons to control ...

Despite its tiny keypad, the W350's dialing speed is pretty fast. The interface is generally snappy and easy to navigate, though without a home button it can get annoying to repeatedly press the back button to get to the home screen when you're deep ...

Sony Ericsson W350

By Sascha Segan

The Sony Ericsson W350 is a free phone (with AT&T contract) that promises more than it can deliver. It looks and acts like a music and camera phone, but it doesn't perform well at those tasks. Even so, it's tiny and cheap, and for simply making calls, ...

Free. Tiny. Music player with FM radio and stereo Bluetooth support. Syncs with PCs

No headphone jack (on a music phone!). Dismal camera. Poorly placed memory card slot. Limited Internet capabilities

You get what you pay for with the Sony Ericsson W350. This free phone offers a lot of features, but it doesn't excel at many of them.

The Sony Ericsson W350 is a free phone (with AT&T contract) that promises more than it can deliver. The Sony Ericsson W350 has one major advantage: It's free with an AT&T contract. But the Sony Ericsson W580i is also free, and it does pretty much...

Sony Ericsson W350a

By Tong Zhang

Sony Ericsson and AT&T have enjoyed a fruitful partnership over the years, and low to mid-priced Sony Ericsson phones have sold well here in the US on AT&T. And among these, the Walkman series phones are particularly popular. The new Sony Ericsson ...

Ultra thin and light. Very strong music offerings and good audio. Java games play well on the phone. Camera takes decent pictures. Good battery life

The phone feels very plasticky. Camera doesn't shoot video. No wired headset included, no 3.5mm stereo headphone jack for higher quality wired stereo music

Fans of thin and slim phones will marvel at the extreme thinness and ultra-light weight of the Sony Ericsson W350. There are few phones that can compete with the W350a. The Walkman features should please mobile music buffs with the hardware playback ...

Review: Sony Ericsson's W350 Walkman reviewed

By Brad Kellett

Sony Ericsson's new W350 Walkman phone, which is now available from AT&T, is a thin and attractive entry-level flip phone with solid music capabilities. Was Sony Ericsson wise in reviving the flip phone? Read the review to find out.

The W350 is a valiant attempt by Sony Ericsson to bring a retro-styled budget handset to the market, but after a lot of use, I can only really wonder what's the point? Even in Sony Ericsson's own range, there are plenty of other devices that do ...

The Sony Ericsson W350 is an entry-level music handset, targeted at the youth market, that aims to bring a little retro style to the budget conscious handset segment. Physical AspectsAs previously mentioned, the Sony Ericsson W350 is an old-style...

Sony Ericsson W350 review

By Philip Berne

Sony Ericsson's Walkman phone for the masses gets a walkthrough. Check out our in-depth Sony Ericsson W350 review.

Attractive design. Easy to synch with Outlook contacts and calendar. Good camera. Fine Web browser.

Typing and navigation difficult, even in messaging and music functions. Media Manager is buggy and difficult to use. Music experience needs drastic improvement to match other Walkman phones.

The Sony Ericsson W350: Design - Good The Sony Ericsson W350 is a very polished, attractive looking phone. Calling - Good Calls from the Sony Ericsson W350 sounded a bit muddy. The address book on the W350 edged into smartphone territory, and even...

Sony Ericsson W350 Review

By PhoneArena Team

Sony Ericsson W350 is a small, budget musical phone, targeting the young audience. It falls in the low class of the Walkman series and it's the first phone of the manufacturer with the ......

Slim and light, External music controls

Too compact and uncomfortable for talking, Average sound during a talk and when listening to music

Sony Ericsson W350's key characteristics are its design and it musical abilities. It's true that the flip form factor is not the most convenient or useful one, but it definitely differentiates it from the rest and ads a „WOW” factor, which is rarely ...
