Sony Ericsson W880i - flame black (Unlocked)

The Sony Ericsson W880i has a slim, eye-catching design. It offers admirable call quality and a decent feature set including Bluetooth, a Walkman player, and a 2-megapixel camera. It has quite a long battery life as well.

The Sony Ericsson W880i navigation controls and keypad buttons are tiny and difficult to use. Also, it lacks an FM radio, and the music quality was tinny.

The Sony Ericsson W880i is a decent multimedia cell phone but we couldn't get past the poorly-designed controls.

Photo gallery: Sony Ericsson W880i We didn't know quite what to make of the Sony Ericsson W880i Walkman phone. The phone comes in two color schemes: a black-and-orange version and a silver-and-black model. Though we're never fans of a rear-facing...

Sony Ericsson W880 review

By Michell Bak

The Sony Ericsson W880 is the World's thinnest Walkman (phone) ever! It's measuring in at only 9.4 millimetres in depth, which makes it fit perfectly in every pocket. It features the second generation Walkman player for mobile phones, which has a ...

W880 supports Flash - and thereby you can have Flash menus directly on your phone, which is really cool. There are three Flash themes (and thereby three different menus in Flash) and one theme with the original Sony Ericsson menu. I definitely like ...

Review: Sony Ericsson W880

By Michael Oryl (editor)

There are few who would deny that Sony Ericsson's W880 is one of the sexiest looking music phones on the market today. The question is, can its iPod Nano-like form factor work on a device that has to make phone calls and send messages as well as play ...

Compact and light, stylish, good music player, great reception

Cramped ergonomics, poor keypad and controls, no dedicated music keys

Sony Ericsson W880 (ZOOM) Sony Ericsson W880 (ZOOM) Sony Ericsson W880 (ZOOM) Though small, everything about the W880 feels very solidly built, with the possible exception of the spring loaded volume control that is located near the top of the...

Sony Ericsson W880i thinnest walkman ever

By Fuad Abazovic

18 hours of calls and music Sample provided by: Multimedia shop, Vienna Sony Ericsson is the only real competitor to Nokia. Motorola can bring out a nice device now and again and Samsung is still in the fight, but Sony Ericsson remains the top ...

This is a great music player and it has great battery life for a phone. The 2 Mega Pixel camera will be good enough for most, but you will certainly miss the flash. The big problem is the keypad as it is too small, the metal keys are very hard to ...

Sony Ericsson W880 Review

Sony Ericsson W880 is an odd telephone: intended to be used for music, it has fewer features in common with the cybershot models, which impairs its functionality, though. And despite the music orientation, there is the striking inadequateness of not ...

Thin body and solid construcion, Very good keyboard, TrackID gives excellent responce, 3G UMTS

Lack of FM radio, Only tri-band GSM, The camera is worse than the one of the first Walkman (W800)

Even at its presentation, W880 stood out among its "predecessors" as an innovative and modern model. What is interesting about W880 and distinguishes it from other Walkman models of the company is the fact that, apart from featuring a completely...

Sony Ericsson W880i Cell Phone

By Daniel Dumas

This phone is so sweet; you might be tempted to scarf it down. Don't! The W880i is capable of so much more than just giving you nasty gastrointestinal pain. Besides being dead sexy with its striking metallic and rubberized case, and nearly as thin (9 ...

Clear, precise sound from music player. Works perfectly as a phone. Buttons are spaced evenly apart and provide good force feedback. Nearly inexhaustible battery. 3G Web browser is quick and easy to access. Includes 1GB Memory Stick Micro. ...

Included earbuds are so bad, they must be a practical joke from Sony. AC adapter and headset plug into the same port-so in order to charge the phone and listen to music simultaneously, you need to awkwardly piggyback the two. (Unless you're synched up ...
