Very fast. Optimized for Core i7 CPUs and high-end graphics cards. Robust content sharing and Web-based community functions. Plenty of facilities for capturing video from camcorders and other devices

A bit buggy. Interface is overwhelming for beginners. Some new particle effects look a little silly

CyberLink PowerDirect 8 offers oodles of speed and power for more advanced camcorder and disc-based projects, but it isn't very user friendly.

Interface makes multitasking tough, occasional crashes
