Deception is gory, intense, and quite complex, meaning it captures much of what has made MK an institution among fighting games.
The latest in Midway's influential and long-running fighting game series, Mortal Kombat: Deception, picks up where 2002's Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance left off by featuring lots of new and returning fighters and a variety of surprising new modes...
Mortal Kombat: Deception packs in some completely off-the-wall gameplay modes, but the core one-on-one fighting action--whether you play it offline or online--is easily its best part.

A brilliantly brutal, infinitely playable beat 'em up. The most complete fighting title on Xbox. A credit to the franchise.
All the wicked, gory fun of past Mortal Kombat titles, with the action and complexity of a 3D fighter.The best characters from the franchise are back, with awesome new combos and great weapons. Play in different game modes, Conquest (story mode), ...
Four unique modes of play mean you'll be entertained for quite some time. New and classic characters. Huge, interactive environments. Lots of characters to unlock. New fatalities. Play online with Xbox live.
Graphics could be a little better.
A game for fans of Mortal Kombat or gory fighting games. Anybody else should rent it and see what they think.
Detailed movement, Various styles of play
Difficult learning curve, Some sub-games not much fun
Well, here is your prescription right here - Mortal Kombat: Deception. The result is that Mortal Kombat: Deception is now surely the goriest one-on-one fighting game on the market. The game starts with a nice movie explaining how things turned out...
Not many new features to the fighting side of the game, online play makes up for this though., If you haven't played Mortal Kombat for a few games, you may not have any idea what's going on with the story line.
Online play!, Awesome Konquest mode, keeping you playing Deception for many more hours than a usual fighting game., Great graphics with stunning fatality animations
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance suggested anno 2002, as a bomb - the good mix of playability and fantastic optics developer Midway brought full funds. The direct successor to Mortal Kombat: Deception is now in the starting blocks to its top to outdo predec...
Fast pregnant: Deception is the best so far Mortal Kombat. Even for owners of the deadly alliance worth the new purchase: Many unfair moves have been removed, several new aircraft to be freely played and owner of a corresponding adapter pleased with impec...
brutal violence, a lot of blood and a ration of black humor put us at the Midway recent work in M. ..
Entertaining terminations; Many of playing, Playing online; Very gathering;
occasionally bad character design; Konquest mode, feels like a legislation piecemeal; Too much to collect; Sometimes very tasteless; uninvolved ;
better and more complete than Deadly Alliance, despite the lower rating, but is still a slightly uninvolved and feel most like a teaser for Tekken 5 .
