Low price ; good performance in games and movies at optimal viewing angle ; built-in speakers and headphone jack ; solid footstand prevents wobbling
Black level not as deep as we prefer ; bad lower viewing angle ; lack of ergonomic support ; includes only a VGA cable
The BenQ E2400HD is a 24-inch monitor that sacrifices features for price, but doesn't have enough going for it to best its competition.
If price is your focus, the BenQ E2400HD provides good quality for the money, but ultimately we recommend the Dell S2409W over the BenQ. The BenQ E2400HD posted a brightness score of 246 candelas per square meters (cd/m2), according to our test,...
BenQ promises that its E2400HD LCD monitor will provide €œa brand-new standard for personal digital audiovisual entertainment€¦.€ And while we€™ve grown weary of marketing hyperbole, at first glance, this 24-inch panel has the specs to back up this ...
A 24-inch LCD that supports 1080p for less than $400
16:9 aspect ratio supported by limited number of films
suffered from a washed-out palette. The panel couldn’t differentiate the movie’s many dark hues and the bright white seemed to take on a gray cast; however, Movie mode upped the contrast significantly, showing off both ends of the color spectrum. ...
These are rich times indeed for those in pursuit of a modestly priced but surprisingly effective flat-panel. The BenQ E2220HD is such a device, not that you'd know it was cheap to look at it. Its subtle curves give it an air of quality that belies the ...
It's nice, though, to have the versatility - if you're often switching from text-work to gaming or photo work, for example, you'll be glad of the dedicated button
Add HDMI, speakers and snazzier looks to the BenQ G2220HD, and you have the E2200HD. Worth Rs.2,000 more? You decide
The BenQ E2400HD joins the ranks of 24in 16:9 ratio monitors
Today's example, the E2400HD, is yet another model in the company's highly affordable Full HD range, which can be seen as either a bigger cousin to the 22in E2200HD or scaled back version of the M2400HD without the webcam and USB-hub. We've...

Award: Recommended!

BenQ strips its previously-reviewed M2200HD monitor of webcam and USB hub, and gives it a fresh lick of black paint. How does it fare in the budget Full HD wars?
Today we're looking at yet another 22in (or 21.5in to be exact) model following after the award-winning Iiyama ProLite E2208HDS, ViewSonic VX2260wm and BenQ's own M2200HD. The same cable-tidying clip does as good a job of managing cables as on the...
THE E2200HD is great if you're after a larger resolution screen but don't want a huge monitor.
Full HD resolution, HDMI, HDCP, good contrast and brightness, affordable, speakers
Only a basic stand, some noticeable motion blur, needs a dedicated input button
Consider this monitor if you want a larger resolution for the home or office, but don't want a huge monitor to dwarf you as you sit at your desk. Maybe give it a miss if you're a gamer, as you might notice too much blurring.
That's not to say the E2200HD is perfect for all situations.
The day of the 22-inch full HD monitor has finally arrived. Here's what we have to say about BenQ's E2200HD.
Build and Design, Full HD, Connectivity options in the form of HDMI, DVI and VGA ports, Good customisation options.
Average display quality, Enhancement algorithms don't help at all, Leaves a lot to be desired.
Twin 2W speakers are placed at the bottom of the panel, but don't expect too much from them
