HP's new 20-inch wide-screen LCD is very similar to its larger cousin, the W2207, offering the same core specs including 1,680x1,050 (WSXGA+) resolution, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 5-millisecond pixel response time, and a 300cd/m2 brightness rating. Both ...
It's a little shy on features, and we wouldn't recommend the HP w2007 for HD movie watching. Then again, we wouldn't suggest you use any 20-inch LCD for that purpose. What we did like was the overall image quality of this display, which we found ...

Attractive looks ; strong overall image quality ; HDCP-compatibility lets you watch protected HD movies
Less-than-stellar HD movie playback quality ; HP's software continues to be a work-in-progress

The HP w2207 LCD monitor showed the strongest overall performance in its class ; sharp new design ; screen can swivel to portrait mode ; reasonable price ; HDCP-compliant
HP's My Display software is buggy and needs refinement ; HD video still better on a TV
If you can look past a few minor issues, we can think of few people who would be unhappy to own HP's new w2207 LCD. Its attractive design, outstanding overall performance, and approachable price tag make this one of our favorite 22-inch screens to date.

The 22-inch w2207h has all the features you could want in a good monitor. It comes through with great image quality, particularly with text, and it provides tilt, pivot, swivel, and height adjustments.

HP's excellent 20.1-inch wide-screen display has a stylish design, great graphics and text, and a reasonable price.

HP's well put-together w2007 ($260 as of December 10, 2007) 20.1-inch wide-screen LCD ended up in a virtual dead heat with the Samsung 205BW. Though sufficient at keeping the few cables that you'll ever use with this monitor out of the way, it's...
