Height adjustable stand, build quality, good performance

Samsung's SyncMaster 2243BWX monitor doesn't really offer anything to get excited about, but it's good value at this price. The lack of an HDMI input is a sour point, but for office use this is a good choice.

The classy Samsung SM2243BW is a 22in flatpanel monitor encased in a simple but pleasingly curved frame with a sleek silver finish. It will look just so in a well-appointed living room or office.

With a good colour palette and some impressive features, the Samsung SM2243BW is a worthy contender if you can find one for under £180.

In short, the look is sober and ergonomics are more meant for office use rather than gaming.
