Logitech V550 Nano Cordless Laser Mouse (blue) review

By Dan Ackerman

Solid-feeling and hefty ; tiny USB receiver

Bland design, no thumb buttons, mouse doesn't snap onto docking button securely enough

Logitech's new V550 Nano laptop mouse adds a unique "clip and go" dock that lets you clip the mouse to your laptop's lid, but we're not sure it's a feature anyone has been clamoring for.

We didn't have that problem with Logitech's new $59 V550 Nano laptop mouse, and its solid construction easily outshined its main selling point: a unique "clip and go" dock that lets you clip the mouse to your laptop's lid. Besides the somewhat...

Logitech MX 1100 Cordless Laser Mouse

Award: Editor's Choice!

More features than any other desktop mouse ; improved sculpt enhances comfort ; software lets you customize every button

Not rechargeable

Logitech's MX 1100 wireless laser mouse is the best in its class thanks to a wide array of features that make navigation easier. You have to pay for all of that capability, but anyone who puts serious time in front of a PC will appreciate what this ...

The Logitech MX 1100 is the first high-end mouse revamp from Logitech in two years. It boasts some added features over the MX Revolution, Logitech's last flagship cordless mouse, but it has also lost a big feature since it's not rechargeable. Also...

Logitech V550 Nano

By Daniel Shain

Award: Highly Recommended!

Logitech has provided a pretty useful mouse in the V550 Nano. It's not as comfortable as a desktop mouse but about as good as you can get from a mouse this portable.

Tiny receiver, Laser precision, Hyper-fast scroll wheel, Excellent battery life, Clip-and-Go functionality, Small and portable

No back/forward button, Small size prevents full ergonomic support

The mouse is pretty plain looking but it does get a few style points. Our unit was silver with a curved gray section separating the top from the black base, but there's a version with bluish hues available on the Logitech website. There's also a black ...

Feature-filled cordless mouse is comfortable, solid, and a treat to use.

Logitech's new MX 1100 Cordless Laser Mouse isn't as feature-filled as the MX Revolution, but it does measure up-it's one of the better mice I've ever used.

Can toggle between two cursor tracking speeds; feels solid; scroll wheel can toggle between freewheel and ratcheted modes.

May be too big for smaller hands ; may be too heavy for younger hands ; right-handed only ; no mouse recharger

Logitech V550 Nano Review

By Nick Mokey

Logitech's Nano leeches onto the lid of your notebook with a special dock when you're not using it.

Sturdy clip and mouse quality make the V550 feel solid, safely attached

Hyper-scrolling makes it impossible to use the scroll wheel as a button

Logitech MX 1100 Mouse Review (Verdict: Our Favorite Mouse Ever)

By Jason Chen

The exterior DPI toggle can adjust sensitivity on the fly without opening up the control app and the "body" thumb button is good for whatever function (Exposé on Mac or Flip 3D on Vista) you want to assign. The forward and back thumb buttons are still ...

Logitech MX1100 Cordless Laser Mouse

By Jeremy Atkinson

The Logitech MX1100 Cordless Laser Mouse, the newest addition to the MX line of performance mice, is bulky, heavy (5.55 ounces with two AA batteries)and comfortable.

Wireless. Programmable buttons. Comfy shape. Multiple scrolling modes. Fast-enough sensor.

May be too big, heavy for small hands. No charging deck.

With the MX1100 Cordless Laser Mouse, Logitech continues to refine its mice to separate them from the competition. The 1100 has a fair price and plenty of features to keep users happy.

Combining the highly customizable mouse with the best-in-class SetPoint software (included), lets you set vertical scrolling to be clicky and line-by-line or hyperspeed (sideways pressure causes horizontal movement), switch dpi settings on the...
