SanDisk Sansa Fuze (4GB, black) review

By Jasmine France

The SanDisk Sansa Fuze is supercheap and nicely compact; it comes in a variety of colors and has an expansion slot that accepts microSDHC cards. The player offers a variety of desirable features such as an FM tuner, Rhapsody DNA integration, photo and vid...

The Sansa Fuze uses a proprietary dock connection, the interface is blah, and the screen has a dingy look to it.

The SanDisk Sansa Fuze is a great value--a slim design, simple interface, plentiful features, memory expansion capability, and solid sound quality all come with an easy-to-swallow price tag.

Photo gallery: SanDisk Sansa Fuze SanDisk continues to add to its line of Sansa MP3 players, which has been attractive to consumers from the start thanks to the low price point at which the company can list its players. SanDisk thought up the...

Review of the Sandisk Sansa Fuze

By Jeffrey L. Wilson

This full-featured, value-priced media player serves up a good dose of competition for the iPod nano.

Excellent sound quality, Compatible with Linux, Mac, and Windows, Aggressively priced, MicroSD/microSDHC Card slot

Limited format compatibility, Dull screen

All in all, the SanDisk Sansa Fuze is a terrific value. As SanDisk manufactures its own flash memory, it passes along the savings to customers in the form of a player that's $49 and $69 cheaper than comparable 4GB and 8GB iPod nanos, respectively. If you

Sandisk Sansa Fuze

By Tim Gideon

The Sansa Fuze isn't particularly innovative—it's just another simple, yet solid portable media player from SanDisk. We just wish it had more robust file support.

Reasonably priced. Cute, compact design. A microSD slot for memory expansion. FM radio. Voice and radio recording.

File support is limited. All video and photo files require conversion.

SanDisk's latest addition to its portable media player line, the Sansa Fuze, fits cozily in between the dirt-cheap and diminutive Sansa Clip and the larger Sansa View in terms of both price and size. It's possible that the Fuze was introduced by...

SanDisk Sansa Fuze

Rumor has it that the next SanDisk Sansa device will be known as the Fuze, with whispers of a Sansa Fuze accessory package rolling out in the near future, making this whole rumor much more believable. The Sansa Fuze, should it materialize, will probably s...

SanDisk Sansa Fuze MP3 Player

By Travis Hudson

On the outside, SanDisk's flash-based Sansa Fuze MP3 player looks like the iPod Nano; on the inside, however, it packs a lot more functionality.

Slim, compact design Expandable memory

Video playback isn't crisp

The Fuze is a worthy competitor to the Nano--and an even better choice if you're looking for a flash player with expandable memory, an FM tuner, and a lower price tag

I tested a sleek black 4GB model priced at $100--about $40 cheaper than the same-capacity Nano. (The Fuze is also available in 2GB and 8GB versions, for $80 and $130, respectively.) At 2.0 inches wide by 3.1 inches tall by 0.3 inches deep, it...

Review : SanDisk Sansa Fuze MP3 and more

By paul_smart

After my last review of a SanDisk unit this came ? initially ? as a disappointment, in fact more than a disappointment. I was sent a replacement unit and that had the same problem, so once solved I have put it through a thorough and rigorous set of tests

There is a reasonable Quick Start Guide with the first 12 pages in English. When you connect to a PC you get two icons in My Computer the first for internal memory and the second for any micro SD card you may have inserted

SanDisk Sansa Fuze 8GB

By Johnathan Bray

There are more iPod nano challengers on the market than we€™d care to mention, but not many put up too much of a fight, except this one.

It€™s not perfect, though: sound quality is on the harsh side; and the price, while reasonable, isn€™t quite cheap enough to replace either the Zen or nano in our affections
