Creative Zen Vision:M MP3 player

By T3 Online

Creative squares up to Apple with a nifty video-playing jukebox.

Great video playback; Good battery life; Excellent screen

Navigation is still a bit cumbersome; Slightly bulky size

Not as user-friendly as the iPod, but it has better battery life and video support

The Vision:M looks a lot more stylish than Creative's previous efforts, but it's still quite bulky at 19mm thick. Although Creative hasn't trumped the iPod in terms of ease of use, it has come up with a player that's got great sound quality and...

Creative Zen Vision: M

The company that created the digital music player market now snaps forever at Apple's heels, but it's close to drawing blood. Creative has suffered a few embarrassing misfires, so it's great to see it back on track with the Zen Vision range

Great video playback quality, Versatile and easy to use

Awkward touchstrip

Superior technology, but so-so design

Then came the iPod and while Creative laboured over largely unappealing Zen series players, Apple stormed ahead, trumping Creative in terms of desirability and simplicity. Creative started making audio players before they became personal. Pleasing...

Creative Zen Vision:M

By Shayne Rana

The Vision:M is a perfect all in one device for any media requirement.

Good sound / Video quality, Quick conversion of videos, Doesn't require conversion for all video formats, Easy to use PC interface, ,

Some options not easily accessible, Scroll bar is over sensitive, ,

The Vision:M, though it has a few small kinks is still a good deal. Priced at approximately Rs. 14,000, for great video, music and Image quality, the Bottom Line, I'd have to say, is it's worth it! Excuse me while I go out and get mine.

Creative ZEN Vision:M 30GB

By Wayne Brooker

Creative's assault on the PMP market looks like a winner.

There are other minor gripes I have with the Vision:M, like the fact you can't change the battery, or the total absence of a wrist or neck strap loop, but that doesn't alter the fact that it remains Creative's best attempt to date and a worthy ...

MP3 players: Creative Zen VisionM

By Eric Dahl

A superb screen highlights this capable iPod alternative. PC World Canada rating: 84 Very Good.

Despite a few shortcomings, Creative's Zen VisionM is a great AppleiPod alternative. The VisionM sounded great too, though audio codec support is a bitweak--with support for MP3, WMA and WAV, but not for AAC, FLAC orOgg Vorbis formats. I had no...

Creative - Zen Vision:M

The Creative Zen Vision:M beats the iPod Video hands down at video format support and screen quality. Although we wouldn't recommend watching entire movies on it, it's perfectly acceptable for TV and home movie clips. Once you've mastered the ...

Creative Zen Vision:M (30GB) Review - Portable Video Players

By Randolph Ramsay

Let's get past the fact that it looks like the iPod. The Creative Zen Vision:M, drenched in features, is a refreshing breath of fresh air in the MP3 market.

Stylish looks, Excellent colour LCD screen, Long list of features, including FM Radio, video playback and recorder, Easy to use interface, Music and video playback outstanding, FM radio a cinch to use

Touch pad can be a little sensitive, Dock connector dongle a tad unnecessary, Music battery life lower than competitors, Too many pieces of software to control the player, Must use an adapter for transfers and power, meaning that occasionally you need ...

An intuitive and easy to use interface, impressive list of features, stunning LCD screen and top performances in music, photo and video playback make this Creative Zen Vision M an outstanding choice.

The other three programs - Creative Media Source, Creative Media Toolbox and Creative Removable Disk Manager - all handle different aspects of the Zen Vision:M's functionality. The Zen Vision:M Media Explorer is the stripped down management...

Creative Labs Zen Vision:M

By Dave Jansen

Great design, awesome screen, unparalleled file support

Average touchpad control

The Creative Zen Vision:M blows the iPod Video out of the water and stands over its broken visage with a gleeful grin. If you are looking for a reasonably price Portable Media Player, this is the one to get.

It was with a little trepidation that we received Creative's new media player, the 30GB Zen Vision:M. The battery life of the Creative Zen Vision:M is rated at 4 hours for video playback and 14 hours for audio playback with a recharge time of 2.5...
