Creative's video capable Zen Vision: M is its best player yet. Has it finally done enough to best the iPod?
The Zen Vision: M is the best media player Creative has yet released and as such, demands attention. The quality of its display is its biggest assest over the fifth generation iPod, and it offers navigation innovations such as a shortcut button. It's ...
The Zen Vision: M though, is the best media player that Creative has yet released, so for the sake of keeping things interesting the market should be glad it hasn't thrown in the towel yet. No sooner had it helped create the portable digital media...
Creative isn't new to the portable media player market - the Vision:M represents its third model with video playback capabilities, while arch-rival Apple is still on its first with the fifth-generation iPod.
While the iPod has a couple of advantage over the Vision:M - namely thinness and price - it's beaten on almost every other score. Creative almost undoubtedly has a runaway hit on its hands.
Creative was quick to embrace Microsoft's Portable Media Center format with the Zen PMC and followed it up with the Zen Vision a little over a year later. Like the Vision, the Vision:M runs Creative's own software, although it's been slightly...
Hot on the heels of the new video-friendly Ipod is Creative's latest portable media player, the Zen Vision: M....

Not as attractive as the Ipod
A portable media player to rival the Ipod, but not in style

There is a lot going for the Zen Vision: M, and true to form, Creative has just created yet another iPod killer to take on the incumbent.
Fast transfer speed ; wide video codec support ; brilliant screen ; improved vertical scroll
Stiff keys ; bothersome sync adapter ; thicker than the iPod
Looking at the Zen Vision:M (the M likely standing for mobile), we think it rather resembles the newest iPod save for two things: A brand new vertical scroll nestled between four clickable tactile buttons
The Zen Vision:M also received a CNET Asia Editors' Choice award following the update. Design Looking at the Zen Vision:M (the M likely standing for mobile), we think it rather resembles the newest iPod save for two things: A brand new vertical...
Sexy, sassy, pocket-sized movie viewing that stands up against the iPod Video. Please welcome the very pimp of tiny PMPs.
The best of the miniature PMPs - but treat it nicely, or there'll be tears.
The Zen Vision M is the device that has finally sold your humble reporter on the idea of portable media players. Never really seen the point before - why watch a film in micro-vision when you can watch it full screen at home? But that's pretty...
A new, less bulky version of the Zen Vision:M 60GB will be available soon in the U.S.
he good: Available in five colors, the Creative Zen Vision:M has an incredible screen, a simple interface, excellent video battery life, an FM tuner and recorder, and a voice recorder. It features a customizable Shortcut button, and it supports a wide...
The Vision M is something of an iPod imitator, but it doesn’t quite match its inspiration
Nice iPod-like styling; very good picture and sound performance
The iPod Classic is even better
