The Sansa View is large for a flash player, and the onscreen interface is somewhat uninspiring. The small center select button may present a problem for some users.

If you value features and price over a flashy interface and excellent sound quality, the SanDisk Sansa View digital media player is definitely worth a look. It's easy to use and offers a relatively large screen and a memory expansion option.

SanDisk Sansa View MP3 Player Review

By Joe Eitel

Way back in January of 2007, SanDisk unveiled the new Sansa View to the world at CES. For some reason, SanDisk felt that this original design wouldn't be popular in the consumer market, so they went back to the drawing board to totally revamp the ...

The SanDisk Sansa View is the successor to the popular Sansa e200 line of MP3 players from SanDisk. Like the Sansa e200 players, the View features an almost "Zune-like" appearance with a good-sized display and a navigational wheel on the front. This ...

Sansa View

By Amber Bouman

Though I've previously pledged my allegiance to iPod, I'm always on the lookout for hot products, and I had high hopes for SanDisk's Sansa View.

Easy-to-use raised click wheel Very clear sound and vibrant screen

Unintuitive menu navigation Can only be charged via USB

Despite my qualms regarding its internal menus, the Sansa View is a well-rounded portable player with an attractive design, good color quality, and clear sound

The Sansa View fits easily into a pocket, and the slightly rubberized backing felt sturdy in my hands, which is good since I drop things frequently. I was a little miffed, however, when I read in the start guide that "The computer must be on for...

SanDisk is run by smart people. The Sansa View was announced back in January at the Consumer Electronics Show, but when it still hadn't hit stores by midyear, many came to the conclusion that SanDisk had scrapped plans for the device. What actually ...

Affordable. Expandable. Sharp display. Fast menu navigation. FM and voice recording

Large for a flash device. Graphics seem dated. So-so voice recorder

The Sansa View looks a bit boring when compared with the Samsung P2 or the iPod touchbut it offers standard features and plenty of storage at the best price.

The Sansa View was announced back in January at the Consumer Electronics Show, but when it still hadn't hit stores by midyear, many came to the conclusion that SanDisk had scrapped plans for the device. The View supports MPEG-4, WMV, and H.264...
