Canon Pixma MP620 All-In-One Photo Printer

By M. David Stone

Someone at Canon is apparently a contrarian, or at least enjoys being unpredictable. When I reviewed the Canon Pixma MP610 Photo All-In-One in late 2007, I pointed out that it had hardly been changed from the MP600 (which still made it good enough to ...

High-quality photos. Wired and wireless network support. Prints and scans over a network. Standalone copier

No fax support. Clumsy network installation. Manual alignment

The Canon Pixma MP620 Photo All-In-One Printer features high-quality photos and network support, but it's slower than the model it replaces.

Because of these two steps backward the Canon Pixma MP620 All-In-One Photo Printer isn't a contender for Editors' Choice. Check out the Canon Pixma MP620 All-In-One Photo Printer's performance test results Now comes the MP610's replacement—the...

Imaging Resource Printer Review: Canon PIXMA MP620 All-in-One Printer

By MIKE PASINI

All-in-one printers are fast replacing everything but 13x19 printers. And as they do, they're offering WiFi connectivity so every computer in the house can use them. Canon's MP620 no only prints wirelessly but scans wirelessly, too. And for a list ...

Yes, the MP620 lacks a couple of features we'd prefer to have in a multifunction device: film scanning, high definition printing and duplex printing. Fortunately, Canon makes a more expensive model (the MP 980) that offers all of that.

Canon Pixma MP620 printer

By Chris Brennan

An affordable all-in-one?

Compact, plenty of connectivity options, card reader built-in, two paper trays

Slightly red cast to photos

Fairly cheap and extremely well specified all-in-one printer with great output quality. It's well designed and made with the added flexibility of separate ink tanks

Canon Pixma MP620

By Alan Stonebridge

The MP620 is a new mid-range, all-in-one addition to Canon's Pixma range, with a specific focus on photo printing. It's well equipped for capturing your old prints using its scanner and, appropriately, it also features a variety of built-in card ...

Overall, we're very impressed with the Canon Pixma MP620 due to a good blend of looks and practicality, easy setup for wireless printing and low noise levels. It also helps that print quality is excellent if you don't mind waiting a bit longer

Canon Pixma MP620

By Nilofar Hadjanadjiboudine

Because it comes with built-in WiFi, the MP620 is an expensive printer. It's Canon's offering for those who want a printer with separate cartridges that is as good at regular office printing as it is as it photos - and need it to be wireless, too

- Very fast, - Good all-rounder: excellent photo and office printing, - WiFi, - Large screen, - No particular concerns

- New cartridges are quite expensive, - Black and white printing can tend slightly towards red, - Quite expensive, - No automatic double-sided printing any more

The MP620 remains the printer of choice for those seeking the very best. It's fast, good at a wide range of printing tasks and WiFi is a definite bonus. The expensive cartridges make it less attractive than it would be otherwise, but in every ...
