The National High Definition Television is only up to 720 vertical lines which is 1280x720 pixel resolution. These lines of resolution can be expressed in 1080 interlace lines also. Another format of high-definition such as movies on Blu-ray™ and HD ...
InFocus X10™ can be considered as revelation for Home Theater enthusiasts who want to experience and enjoy Blu-ray™ DVD movies in Cinemascope ratio on big screens.
Why squint at your television like a myopic octogenarian when you could be gazing in awe at the full-HD images thrown from the InFocus X10 projector?
Dazzling bright images and vivid colours. A sleek, ceiling-hugging design
Standard-def looks disappointing by comparison
Rustle your crisp packets and talk loud guff during the trailers, because this is the ultimate full-HD projector for a grand!
Good price, great picture, lots of scope for adjustment, incredibly sharp
Obsolete DarkChip1 technology, long-throw lens is difficult for small rooms
If you can look past the outdated specifications, the InFocus X10 is a fantastic projector. For a low price you get a high quality Full HD 1080p image that is vibrant and sharp. The X10's downsides are only minor in our opinion.
Other projectors may be more advanced - the InFocus X10 uses DarkChip1 technology for its image processing but the current standard is DarkChip4, so it?'s three generations behind - but this doesn?'t stop the X10 from creating a fantastic picture....
A 1080p projector for just £1000? It's a bargain!
Brilliant value for money ; Great 1080p picture quality ; Easy to setup and use
Not suited to smaller rooms ; Some motion judder ; Rainbow effect ; You'll need to tweak the projector's settings to make the most of it
It also has a great range of Gamma presets that enable you to adjust the colour balance of the projector so that it more closely matches the output from the source - e.g. movie, TV, PC, etc
Well the X10 is not a small unit when unpacked. Like much of their In8x range the chassis has a large footprint (W 476mm x H 148mm x D 432mm) with the lens to the left hand side of the front plate (when looking directly at the projector). When lifting ...
Above Average
For instance, it boasts two digital video inputs, both compatible with the latest v1.3 HDMI standard for playback of the latest Deep Color format. Plus its native contrast ratio is reckoned to be an impressive 7500:1, and perhaps most remarkable of ...
Amazing value, great performer, nicely designed, good connectivity
It runs a touch noisily, the rainbow effect, a shorter-throw lens would have been a good idea
Award: Editor's Choice!

InFocus' Full HD X10 is, quite simply, one of the most aggressively priced DLP projectors on the market, and it performs well too!
If I had a pound for every time I'd used the phrase -you only get what you pay for' in the course of my reviews for this website, I'd be a wealthy man by now. But thankfully very occasionally you stumble across a perspective-shifting product that's ...
In fact, from what I can gather from InFocus representatives, one of the reasons InFocus has been so aggressive with the X10's pricing is that it really wants the model to boot LCD out of the home cinema projector market altogether. The key to our...
The hulking InFocus Play Big X10 is a game changer in the world of DLP projectors, offering incredible full 1080p high definition pictures and a spec sheet usually reserved for pricier models. The pictures it produces are nothing short of stunning, ...
It's difficult to lay many criticisms at the X10's door. However, the much-hyped rainbow effect (that's nowt to do with George, Zippy and Bungle by the way) found on many HD projectors is notable. It appears occasionally in the corner of the shot, ...
The technique the InFocus X10 borders on sorcery: Millions of tiny movable mirrors are for a true cinema experience. Whether it actually sharp images, has reviewed AUDIO VIDEO PHOTO .
very natural, sculptural image, relatively quiet, all the important connections ;
rigid in the list (Picture position not adjustable, no Lensshift), expensive replacement lamp ;
satisfactory
