Fujitsu ScanSnap S300

By M. David Stone

The Fujitsu ScanSnap S300 offers both duplexing and an automatic document feeder in a portable scanner.

Portable. Duplexes. Automatic document feeder (ADF). Document and business card scanner.

No standard drivers, which means you can't scan from within most programs.

The Fujitsu ScanSnap S300 scanner brings the convenience of duplexing and an automatic document feeder to scanning on the go.

You could reasonably argue over whether the Fujitsu ScanSnap S300 ($295 direct) is the world's biggest portable scanner or its smallest desktop document scanner. I tested the S300 under Windows XP, but Fujitsu says the software also works with...

Fujitsu ScanSnap S300 review

By Roman Loyola

Fujitsu's ScanSnap S300M takes the technology from the company's well-received desktop document scanners, such as the ScanSnap S510M, and puts it into a device that's easier to carry from location to location.

The paperless office is a nice sentiment, but there are professions that are slow to evolve from creating reams of paper on a regular basis - law, estate agents, and medicine, to name a few. For mobile professionals looking for a way to manage paper ...

Fujitsu - ScanSnap S300

Technology is now advanced enough to have shrunk the traditional large-footprint scanner down to something that resembles the dimensions of a family-sized bar of Toblerone. Fujitsu has come up with something different with the ScanSnap S300, ...

The S300 is aimed at a rather specific market, namely those who want to create digital copies of documents, and by not being TWAIN compatible it won't be for everyone. Despite being rather expensive it does do its job well, though, and if you want the ...

Review: Fujitsu Scansnap S300 scanner

By Paul Lester

A sheetfed scanner small enough to fit in a briefcase

The S300 is squarely oriented at the office environment and, although it's effective, we'd have liked it to be a more capable all-rounder, particularly as it costs more than /'200

Review: Fujitsu Scansnap S300 scanner

A sheetfed scanner small enough to fit in a briefcase

Noisy when in use ; Not good value

Good EPG ; Two tuners

Fujitsu has created an incredibly small automatic document feed scanner in the Scansnap S300, which offers a 10-sheet paper tray capable of handling sizes from A4 right down to business cards.

Fujitsu ScanSnap S300 Review

By JD Speedy

When I was asked to look at Fujitsu's new ScanSnap Scanner, the S300, I was a little taken aback. I mean, I wasn't really the scanning type, and like most people I always ask "when would I use it?".

It makes scanning an easy thing to do and an extension of your day-to-day life. By making it so convenient it's easy to organize all your data - and reduce your paper consumption - quickly and efficiently
