Product Reviews: Samsung LA32R71

By Jason Saundalkar

Once connected to a PC, the screen offers a native resolution of 1360 x 768 pixels and quality at this resolution is superb. Text is legible from well over 10 feet away (at font 12), which means sharing presentations won't present a problem. Video ...

An aggressively priced 32" LCD screen offering HD support and quality visuals.

A big screen display is the preferred buy and Samsung's LA32R71 is one of the firm's newest LCD releases. Had Samsung also included a DVI interface, quality would have been even better.

Mild low-level video noise ; mousy audio ; scratch-prone

Measuring an ultra-slim 87 x 658.5mm, the panel is one of the sleekest around. Enabling this feat is a combination of a thin frame bezel and compact speaker system. The set also features a wine-shaped bottom and pedestal stand capable of two-way ...

Launched months back and the brainchild of its Imagine campaign, the Samsung's R7 series LCD TVs are in a league of their own among their Korean peers. Samsung has even gone the extra mile of offering three contrasting flavors to integrate with...

By Matt Overington

Samsung's LA32R71BDX 32-inch (81cm) LCD television offers a high-definition digital tuner, sleek design, and a clear image with a handy list of extra features.

Outstanding image quality, Easy-to-use, Looks great

Poor audio, No automatic brightness control

At just shy of AU$3000, this Samsung TV is a substantial investment, but a wide range of inputs, clear sound, and outstanding images help this 32-inch display shine. More to the point, given that it includes an HDMI input and a built-in high ...

Features On paper, Samsung's top-of-the-line 32 inch LCD television is a screamer, boasting a massive 5000:1 dynamic contrast ratio coupled with a 500cd/m2 brightness rating and 12.8 billion colour palette. At just shy of AU$3000, the Samsung TV is...
