  Although Lian-Li has been around since 1983, it was the introduction of a new range of computer accessories and chassis 10 years later that really made the purist geeks amongst us drool over sweet aluminium

    The PC-A12 does everything it should do, though it's not perfect, of course. In particular, the lack of water cooling was a disappointment, even for a model billed as the budget offering in Lian-Li's new range

Takes finger prints which are hard to get rid of, Finish can scratch fairly easily, Motherboard tray not removable, Only marginally cheaper to other, more featured Lian Li cases

As always Lian Li has produced a very high quality case. I see the PC-A12 as more of a budget case where it does not have as many thumbs screws - as the PC-A16 for example -, it doesn't have as many fans, and the motherboard tray is not removable. However...

Light, sturdy aluminium design; looks stylish; 2 x 12cm fans.

DVD drive was awkward to install, front ports aren't easy to access, its expansion slots may make it difficult to install some expansion cards.

This case has style, runs cool and quiet, and has enough size to cater to a high-end configuration. However, if you're constantly adding and removing components, this case isn't an ideal choice.
