Today, we will be taking a look at two different flash drives from OCZ. The first one is the OCZ Rally 2. The OCZ Rally 2 is a general purpose flash drive used to store your personal files and folders. The other flash drive we will be taking a look at is...

The sales of flash memory products are on a steep increase with many people realising how handy having all their data on the go can be. Today I'll be looking at OCZ's "Rally2" flash drive to see if it can compete in an already flooded market.
OCZ are well known for their high performance, stylish products and the Rally2 is certainly a credit to their line-up. With its hard wearing aluminium chassis and slimline design the Rally2 is likely to be the envy of generic plastic flash drive users eve...
So, you are looking for a high-density thumb drive, but don't want to have the slow speed that usually coincides. OCZ recently launched 4GB versions of their extremely popular Rally2 thumb drives, and they prove to be a winner. Faster than most of it's co...
I was running Firefox off of a old 2GB SD card and reader and Firefox paused for about one second while loading pages. This was annoying so I thought I would upgrade to something a little faster. The Rally2 32GB pauses for more like twenty seconds while l...
Large files read and write pretty quick.
Small files take ages to write.
The orange led is kind of ugly. Solid on when not in use, flashes when it is. I won't ding it a star over this or the cap, or even the relatively slower write speed given the price
32GB capacity (29.8 foprmatted= you can format it as fat in WinXP/Vista. 24MB/sec read speed (1.5GB read a minute) on large files (475MB being defined as large)
8MB/sec write (large files) = ~2 minutes to write 1 GB. Not terrible, but slow vs. (much more expensive/smaller capacity) other models. The cap is loose. It's not fall off on it's own loose, but it IS ""shove it in your pocket with keys and pull it out ma...
This drive DOES support ReadyBoost, even though Newegg doesn't state it. It says right on the packaging "Supports ReadyBoost". Both write and read speeds seem lightening fast to me. This drive is perfect for carrying an OS in your pocket. I'm ordering a s...
Currently the lowest priced 32GB USB Flash drive ($125 at the time of this writing). Supports ReadyBoost for fast transfer speed. Small size. Aluminum shell is very durable.
The cap might get lost if not careful. It does hold on tight to the drive, but a retaining cord would be nice so the cap stays with the drive while in use (like OCZ uses on their other line of Flash drives).
