The software on this unit is the worst DVR software I have ever seen. User interface is much worse than DVR unit from Time Warner (Scientific Atlanta) I had before switching. Dish need to hire who knows what they're doing to fix this DVR software.

Unit is super fast an easy to use. 30 second jumps are lightening fast.
This unit does not have the intuitive brain of a tivo. Its strictly a recording device that will follow your comands.
