Not as capable as we€™d have expected. You can do better for this money
Howvever, there's bead news: the Epson€™s picture, while commendably sharp and bright, lacks real-world contrast. Deep blacks are rendered more as murky greys and, even after extensive experimentation and plenty of tweaking, we couldn€&t
Most people are likely to associate the Epson brand with printers and scanners, rather than home cinema gear. Yet, and this may come as a surprise, the company is actually the bone fide world number one in projectors: supply and manufacture
Beautiful colour, Impressive detail, Flexible configuration
Disappointing black level, No HD aspect-ratio selection
Despite its Full HD billing, pictures could be better. But you'll still struggle to beat it at this price
Eye-fondling projector.
>Vividly colourful 1080p images, Great design, Big visuals in confined spaces ,
Contrast could be better
Eye-fondling "budget" HD niceness
Contrast isn't as good as the Optoma HD73, which costs a grand less and has black levels like a coalmine in a power-cut, but the HD73 can't match the Epson's 1080p images, nor its suitability for smaller rooms.
The EMP-TW1000 is a Full HD unit, with a native 16:9 resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels
Beautiful colour, Impressive detail, Flexible configuration
Disappointing black level, No HD aspect-ratio selection
The black-level limitations can perhaps be overlooked with this in mind, especially when the feature-set, input flexibility, excellent colour fidelity and potential for true-to-life detail are also factored in. This unit should definitely be on the shortl...
Most people are likely to associate the Epson brand with printers and scanners, rather than home cinema gear. The three LCD panels employ Epson's exclusive Crystal Clear Fine (C2Fine) technology - the TW1000 is the first PJ to make use of it. The...
Now that we have easy access to full HD 1080p video in the form of Blu-ray and HD DVD discs, it's natural to want something well specified and affordable to play them through
Smooth, bright pictures with plenty of detail, Excellent price
Noisy, Poor shadow detail
This is full HD on a budget, but aside from a lack of fine detail in blacks few compromises have been made
Already known for its burgeoning line-up of beamers, in the growing community of 1080p front projectors Epson is a new kid on the block. Epson may be fresh faced, but it has also come up with one of the cheapest of all the Full HD models out there
Great value for money, Pleasing HD images
Too much picture noise, Little shadow detail
Not perfect but good value for money for anyone investing in next-generation discs
A very user-friendly projector, but the image quality is disappointing. You can buy better for less
Not as capable as we'd have expected. You can do better for this money
Image is well behind the best for black depth and colour realism
Easy to set-up and use; short-throw design is living-room friendly
The characteristics of this projector hovering (in theory at least) perfection. Notice to moviegoers.
-- High-resolution Very high-contrast-Zoom 2.1x-Lens shift horizontal and vertical-Good security
-- Relatively short lifespan of the lamp in normal mode
The high-definition 720p mode, this is not really high-definition. A stronger because if you want to have an image of six metres dediagonale! That is why the latest video sontdésormais compatible with the true ...
A beamer with full hd resolution, contrast and many incredibly beautiful colors.
Great color + + Adjustable lens
- Not the most silent
The first Full hd beamer to the relatively favorable price of 3500 euro, it is an absolute luxury. In addition to the very good image quality, the beamer as strengths the beautiful display of colors and wide institutions that.
