The Optoma HD70 represents a breakthrough in the pricing of home projectors; it's an HD-ready, 720p DPL projector for under £700. If you were thinking of getting a home theatre set-up, and thought 480p was all your budget could afford, think again

The Optoma HD70 projector gives picture quality that it have seen on projectors that exceed the 200 grand region. Deffo worth getting!
Breathtaking picture for the price. Needs to be seen to be believed!
Focus can be a little fiddly, but one you get it focused you're laughing

this item has good contrast and brightness for the money it also has a good throw distance
the projector has an inconvenient lens angle no matter how I mount it.
For $1000 this is the best HD-capable projector there is. Period. :)
