The Panasonic PT-AX100U is a near perfect addition to Panasonic's long and storied line of excellent High Definition 3-chip LCD home theater projectors.
The Panasonic PT-AX100U's $2,999 price tag is a bit hefty (much like the projector itself) but its "street price" is appreciably lower, so it still offers excellent value for an HD-compatible (720p) LCD projector. Older models of the Panasonic had a rear

The AX100 is fairly large by budget projector standards, but is still reasonably easy on the eye thanks to a fetching white finish. Connectivity is functional. That's to say, you get solitary examples of the key HDMI, component and VGA PC inputs

Award: Editor's Choice!
The PT-AX100E is similar to Panasonic's award-winning PT-AE900. It keeps all the excellent visuals, only this time it's twice as bright. An excellent projector for the money.
Excellent picture regardless of source; high brightness; sophisticated yet simple menu system; manual lens shift and zoom.
Limited setup options; no learning remote; larger than competitors.
And of the two competing projector technologies, DLP and 3LCD, it appears the latter is the winning ticket--if this Panasonic is anything to go by.
