Withe the lens hood and lens extension attached the flash produces a half moon shadow on the pictures which means you need to detach the hood and lens extension everytime you take a flash picture
If you buy a multi-coated protector lens or a polarizing filter there isn't a lens cap to protect these lenses
You would need a non-standard size 74mm lens cap which I have not been able to track down
If you have the lens hood on & taking the indoor pictures with flash you will have the half circle shadows on the bottom pictures, however i think lens hood is not required when taking indoor pictures
