I did quite a bit of extensive searching and comparing and I did not find anything remotely close to the quality and features of this machine within the price range
Hands down the best system for the price and much higher quality than I was expecting
Swap out DVD for Blu-Ray when the price drops enough to make it worth while

The 2.26GHz Core 2 Duo chip is zippy, but a quad-core processor wouldn't have gone a miss, and for a laptop so big, the trackpad is mighty small

This is all minor stuff and in my opinion doesn't take anything away from this unit
I thought you had to press harder or that maybe it was a defective unit
The High Def screen is beautiful, but doesn't hold a calibration, dissappointing but not a big surprise as no laptop or gaming monitor seem to work for serious color work
