battery
0.5
- Short battery life from basic configuration
- battery life
- Could use a higher-capacity battery option
- The only minor things that I can think of is the battery life and the fact it gets a little warm
- Battery should be at least 3 1/4 hours or better
- I guess I could always purchase the High Capacity 6 Cell Lithium Ion Battery from HP to get 3 hours &
- Battery life is pretty dismal

- from the time I pressed the power button to the time I started trying to use this thing
- I had problems with this thing right out of the box, from the time I pressed the power button to the time I started trying to use this thing
- This one has a different power supply than my last one so I can't use my extra power supply
- On "Power Saver" mode you can barely get around 2 hrs maybe more depending on your usage
- In my case I purchased this with the idea that I could replace my home gaming desktop rig that was eating power at the rate of 1Kw/hr (power requires power I guess)
- On "Power Saver" mode you can barely get around 2 hrs maybe more depending on your usage, I would suggest grabbing the 12 cell

memory
4.5
- If you want a gaming computer you're going to have to spend some extra this is in no way a hardcore gaming machine although in mediocre to low settings it can do the job
- it really doesn't belong in this computer
- Would have perferred DDR3 video memory and 7200RPM HD as HP's standard components
- eSATA port for storage expansion
- The new windows is definitely interesting but it is a memory hog and I feel that on the old system this machine would be much much quicker

remote control
2
- The little remote needs a completely free path to the receiver which is right beside the the mic and headphone jacks so you have to point right to it when you're close to the laptop
- but who needs a remote while close
