Fitbug Orb activity tracker review

The Fitbug Orb is a relatively inexpensive activity tracker that not only helps you track your steps and aerobic activity, but it can also track your sleep and comes with a digital coach named KiK who gives you a little kick when you you need some...

Inexpensive ; Sleep tracking ; Easy mobile syncing

To sync with PC/Mac, you have to buy an additional USB dongle ; Doesn't show activity progress on the device ; Not clear how step targets are set

Difficult Set up

The Orb Webpage and/or App are very difficult. Customer service( no phone calls, only email) is not much help. For about the same price a Fitbit or Jawbone is much better purchase.

Fitbug Orb

This product can be quiet difficult to figure out and ensure that your phone is compatible with it. Overall a good product once early complications resolved.

This product has some good features

The ease of wearability is good. The app the tracker connects to is not particularly well developed. The sleep part of the connection is not very accurate. Nutrition has to be added through thre web site. The cost of the tracker is more than many of...

For best results use the clip . The Orb is no different from many other devices,if you are prepared to put the time in the Orb will repay you. Have found the ORB very accurate and a great aid in losing weight and getting fit. Excellent value,a good...

Good Kit

I am retired now but excercise most days for about 30 minutes. The information from the sensor is great but I feel that having to go elsewhere to measure my pulse is a bit of a waste of the sensor already in situ.

So simple you almost forget it's there

I chose the orb due to the long battery life and easy set up, my only concern was the lack of display. Actually the lack of display has turned out to be a benefit since I don't spend all day checking how I'm getting on so can get on with my life. With...

Good for counting steps

Returned this in under a week as I found it did nothing but counted steps daily. unless you are prepared to log on the website everyday to set challenges and log your food it is not worth it, Just a glorified pedometer.
