Best for the price.

 

I did much research before deciding on this unit. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would make it again. Other considerations were from Sunpentown, Keystone and LG (all 12,000 BTU's compared to 11,600, but also heavier and more expensive)....

High build quality. Temperature sensing remote. Many useful functions. Very well packed by Newegg (manfacturer box placed inside lager box with 1" of air cushion packaging)

Filter sits a bit loosely and can sometimes rattle a bit when compressor is running. Light bleed through inside baffle visible through vent

Soleus 12,000 BTU Cool Only Window AC

 

So far it works great. Cools very well, and i've only had to set at 69. Hope it lasts for awhile.
