Has it's place

Bought the Royal Sovereign for my office to keep servers cool but with high humidity and 90 degree temps I couldn't get the temp below 80 degrees. Humidity wasn't bad at 46% which made it tolerable to work. Unit expells as much air as it circulates so...

So far so good...

I purchased this item from Wal Mart and it was delivered two days later (which was way fast). It seems to be a much better AC than the EdgeStar unit I also have. It is much quieter running than the EdegStar and it pumps out cool air like crazy. The...

Quiet(ish), Cools great, compact size, exhaust hose design

Terrible, just terrible

Went for BTU's in my studio apt, plus the best fit for my sliding windows. This seemed like the best selection. Easy set up, but had to wait for the weather to turn to see how it truely functioned. Water tank emptied out quickly, and could never stay...

The top feed for the hose is best feature

Fan speed change causes loud noise, squeaking as if rubbing styrofoam. Tank doesn't easily hug to back

Easy to set up, runs smoothly

Must watch the water amount in the unit

We've done our shopping around and we're very happy with our purchase. First, best buy tells you how big your room size should be for the BTU, which is really helpful.(we had a hard time understanding btu) We were looking for the smallest portable air...

Was not pleased

I was excited to get this new AC because of it's portability. I figured I could move it from room to room without any issues. I had no problem moving the AC but unfortunately it was very loud and took several hours to cool down my room. I also thought...
