Summer - 2012

Has been a god send in a room with no windows, taken temperature down from 29-23 during the day and as low as 21 at night.

Good product, not for a bedroom though

I bought the ac unit to cool my garage that houses my running machine. The ac unit is very easy to assemble and also comes with a short pipe to connect the water tank to a permanent drain. The air output pipe is quite sturdy and stays set in the...

excellent bit of kit

This is the first air conditioner I have bought I'm impressed with the cooling but there is a problem the exhaust pipe is 137mm (not mentioned in catalog) and you cannot buy a diamond core drill piece at that size its either 115mm or 145mm so if your...

Great air conditioner

This unit is much better in the flesh the stock photo does not do it any favours. Cools the room quickly, no louder than a decent fan. The unit is pure white and not creamy like the photo.

Not portable

The item isn't portable. If you buy this you will have to make a hole in a wall or window! Which slightly goes against the idea of portability/

Worked right out of the box and cooled the room down quickly. The only down side is the large exhaust hose-venting is essential. A 20cm hole in your wall or window is required and not usually already handy. We put the hose out of the window and it...

Great purchase

This is a great little unit for cooling a bedroom. Yes it makes some noise, but no more than you would expect from an air conditioning unit. Works a treat in our little boys bedroom (a well insulated loft conversion that grabs the summer heat). I would...

Does a good job

Does a great job of cooling a room. I find the trick is just to switch it to cool straight away (rather than auto) and slap it down to 18 degrees, does a much better job of cooling on this setting (the condensor switches on and stays on on this setting).
