I had the item shipped to me two times and both times it was damaged, so I have no idea how well this item works.

It does not cool as well as it says it should - 850 sq. feet. and a small plastic piece (cord winder) broke immediately and I've asked for a replacement which they did not send.

The product is a great item, the problem is getting one shipped to you in whole. After two trys and both times the casement or parts of the A/C was broken when it arrived.
