Excellent for use in my game room.

My old dehumidifier was very loud and had a capacity of 5 pints more than this one. Initially I was disappointed in the smaller capacity of the 30 pint Frigidaire however I now appreciate the light weight of the container when it needs to be emptied.

Very efficient, relatively quiet compared to my previous one

SUPER NOISY

The dehumidifier seems to work well, I live in a colder, damp climate and it seems very efficient. But honestly, this thing is unbearably loud.

so far so good

I returned an EVA-dry because it didn't do ANYTHING. This frigidaire is great; it took 15 pints of water out of a relatively small room in less than 24 hours. As to noise level, it is about the same as a loud fan. If you're sensitive to white noise in...

After too many basement floods, we realized we needed to deal with moisture in our basement. Since buying this, we have not had any more moisture problems. We've had this for about 2+ months and it has been working nonstop, and working great! I was...

Drying out in SoCal

I live about a mile from the beach in Southern California, and this house has always had a tendency toward dampness, although never actual MOLD. I started using DampRid a few years ago and was always surprised how much water got collected. But when I...

seems to work

This is my first dehumidifier. I've only had it for a few days, but it has made a huge difference in my apartment's air quality. I live in swampy Philadelphia. It collects 30 pints in a day. It does not hold 30 pints at once. I empty it about 2-3 times...

So far, so good

We bought this to place in a new basement laundry room. So far it works very well. The laundry dries quickly and it definitely draws moisture out of the air. So much so the room has a very dry feeling. Not what you would expect in a laundry room. The...

Sorry to say

I bought this product and I set it up exactly as directed, and kept it in the same place for about four months. I followed every single direction to the T. It worked wonders (I LOVED it) and then "poof", it just stopped drawing water out of the air...

Nice Unit

This unit is compact, well designed and reasonably quiet. I replaced an older GE with it and am very happy with it, overall.
