I purchased this unit after wanting to cool down my living room and kitchen which are about 400 sqft combined. Installation was simple and is better with a helper. The unit fits perfectly and is styleish. It can be loud for those who prefer a quiter...

Bad experience

 

Bad experience

The compressor went out the 2nd day of use. decided to have it fixed under Frigidaire warranty. it took a month to get the part. when the repair man replaced the compressor the relay that starts it stuck on. We are still waiting a replacement relay.

A very good buy! I had to get a handyman to install this thing in my sliding window, and he built his own wooden frame for it rather than use the fairly flimsy metal and plastic one that comes with it, but once in the window and turned on - this thing...
