Good Deal - little temp control

Overall its a good deal for the money and it works, installed in 5 min. It would be nice to have better control over the temperature and the airflow, but overall im happy with it

Cheap, lightweight, easy install & it gives off cool air =)

Temperature Controls are awful. you have 1-7 for temp and it seems that 6 or 7 means cool/cold, where all the other ones me just fan ; Also the airflow direction thing is rather useless, its either slightly left or slightly right, no up and down control

Not a bad deal

I received this unit and had expected it to have some problems as per reviews I had read on the internet. They claimed it was loud and had various other problems, such as not cooling properly. They were all wrong however. The unit does produce a lot of...

Very small, lightweight (for an appliance), powerful air flow, powerful cooling (working wonderfully at 200 sq ft with no insulation), clean pearly white apperance

Excessively large vent holes (needs finer screening to prevent bugs from entering), clunky/non-working temperature controls, lack of proper drainage (see comments)

Effective easy to control, doesn't drink all your energy!

This Frigidaire window-mount air conditioner is a great product. With 5000 BTU of cooling power, the FAX052P7 is a machine capable of cooling my entire downstairs within hours of starting. The thermostat keeps it even-keel, and it doesn't soak up all...

Nice Unit Great Warranty

We loved this air conditioner so much we bought 3 of them. They are great. Handy remote controls for those who are disabled and can't get to the air conditioner, air conditioners placed high, or those couch potato types! Very accurate auto feature, set...

Great air conditioner for the price

This was the second air conditioner we had bought this summer. We took the first one back. This one is a dream. We were even able to set it up fairly easy, and we have the old windows. It cools great. It would get so cool at night that we would end up...

Cooling summer long product right here!

I purchased this product to replace the air conditioner I had prior to it stopped working. I figured it would be very cold due to the fact it's made by frigidaire. It was easy to put in the window the product is not over-sized. The air comes out so...

Great way to cool down for the Indian Summer...

We bought this unit for our window in the master bedroom and have been pleased with it. We thought it was Energy Star compliant but it turns out it was for a different model--that was the only misleading thing we found about it. It is quiet, easy to...

Cools the room, just a tad loud

This air conditioner was the easiest solution to our upstairs being to hot & stuffy all summer long. It went into the bedroom window in under a minute, is easy to operate & cools efficiently. But the noise is a bit louder than our downstairs unit and...

Great Little Unit, Efficient, Quiet and COOL!

We purchased the Frigidaire FAX052P7 at Lowes for our kitchen window. We have a central A/C unit but during the hot Texas summer months sometimes thats not enough. This little gem is 5,000 BTU and is exactly what we needed to help cool our home. The...

Broken switch

Once the top of the box was off, the whole box fell apart. Later, one of the warehouse guys told me that if you don't hold on to the bottom of the box, the air conditioner may just slip out the bottom of the box and land on your feet.
