I initially reviewed this AC poorly, as in I gave it a low score, If I could at this point I would give it a lower score, it is truly disappointing and definitely NOT recommended. My old 12000BTU 9.8 EER General Electric AC that was about 6 years old...

Now None

Cools terribly compared to my old unit Uses more power than my old (9.8 EER 12000BTU) unit Energy Saving doesn't work Can't detect temperature, temp changes to 85 in the room it still reads at 72, set it a degree higher, it slowly realizes its 85 and...

Not good

I bought this to save some money on my old AC which didn't have energy saver mode, Its sure saving me money not running but my ferrets are getting close to heatstroke as it forgets to turn back on. When it works its great, when it doesn't your room...

It cools well

Energy Saving mode is a joke, turns itself off and forgets its an AC. Temp is set to 78 and it says its 95 in the room, still hasn't turned back on

Eh..

Works when it wants, excellent to keep a temperature range that isn't much higher than ambient.

Shell was damaged via shipping, can't tell if this caused damage to the unit, coils are freezing when set to 74, and it is 80 outside. Something may be wrong with the unit.
