Compact. Handy as a temporary solution. Reliable.

Operating heat stays in room. Discharge pipe creates vacuum and sucks in hot air. Noisy.Costly electric.

When you are hot and dont have a thru wall aircon.

I bought this unit because I was living in the tropics at the time and had a room with no air conditioning. I liked it because it took up very little space. The discharge pipe was difficult to fit into the sliding window without pushing the unit out...

Compact. Handy as a temporary solution. Reliable.

OK

I rang Kelvinator, and they no longer even make the kpk35cra, nor the kpk35crb. Why in the world would they stop making the #1 portable is beyond me. So much for Kelvinator!

Choice magazine listed it as #1.

I couldn't find it anywhere.
