this unit was top rated, by consumer reports, and so far I tend to agree since i am using it in my warehouse

i bought the unit to help cool my dining room that wasn't geting cooled by my central a/c.it has helped tremendously with both units working together.

I don't have a window sill, so I didn't use that feature and it works just fine without it.
