Yes it is portable, yes it has a ice box, yes it has a timer but it is not a cooler. This is a really poor product. It has no affect on the air temp. My advice is don't waste your money. If you want a cooler spend £300 and get a air con unit. These...

Air cooler

It works well mainly but on very hot muggy evenings, you should put plenty of ice in as well. Keep a window slightly open and it will all pay dividends.
