Power Outage

Great AC, except everytime I turn on the Cold Air my Power goes out. I read that others have this Issue too. Didn't know the Wattage requirements prior to buying. Hope in a Newer House it'll work...

Critical Need Fulfilled !

We were desperate to have these units in place before a major repair of our current system stopped all productivity. The units arrived and were in place in record time. They are the "lifesavers" we needed. Thank you so much.

EdgeStar Server Cool 14,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner

Maybe they should think about making a self-contained plastic unit where the water that it collects can be deposited and easily removed when full. They have the excess water basically collect in a pan in the bottom of the unit. You then have to unplug...

It worked as advertised. I installed this unit into a small server room that did not have proper cooling. Average temp of servers prior to installation was about 88 Degrees. Average temp of servers after install is 63-67 degrees. Comes with a remote...

They should make the intake and exhaust tubes longer. If one of the selling points of this unit is to cool small server rooms it should have tubes that are long enough to reach a drop ceiling that is average height. I had to fuse 2 of the tubes with...

Works better than expected 24x7x365

What I needed was a server room unit to cool a home office 24x7x365 where a firewall, multiple managed switches, multiple 1U-sized servers, a massive 3U-sized RAID unit and a fiber channel switch in a 12U rack along with multiple heavy-duty 2200VA UPS...

Used in a server room

I replaced a SDT 10,000 BTU unit that kept the temperature of the room about 76 to 78 degrees. My original server room was much smaller. I knew I needed something beefier. I searched the reviews and specs and found what I needed for a reasonable price....

One of the best 110 volt A/C units ever!

This works great for the upper level of the house. The first one had a rattle and Shawn in customer service got me a replacement right away. The second one has been running for 3 weeks now trouble free. This works better than the 12,000 BTU window unit...

This unit really drops room temperture.

This product exceeded my expectations. When set to 73 degrees it is too cold in my south facing kitchen on a 90 degree day. I have already reccommened this unit to several friends and I am about to order a second one. Purchased additional connectors...

RESEARCH PAYS OFF!!

We had this unit installed in a newly enclosed screen room in the HOT Florida July. Our room is 21X21 which required the 14,000 btu. It is set at 80 degrees and works like a charm.

Good Server Room AC

I have had this installed for about two weeks. So far, easy install with ceiling kit, keeps room cool (68f), reasonably quiet, and no water drain!.
