10,000 BTU models can't cool its own box...

None that I could find yet. I guess the remote control looks nice.

90 lbs, doesn't cool at all, relatively weak fan.

10,000 BTU models can't cool its own box...

I purchased one from the Home Depot and found that it couldn't cool a 14'X16' AT ALL. With outside temp. of 79 degrees, the "air conditioned" inside room temp. was 80 degrees! When I called Sharp's tech support, I found two things: 1.) The Sharp reps ...

Super Product!

I bought this product to cool an 18 X 18 garage. I needed something quiet, easy to install and affordable. I got all three! I cant say how wonderful this unit is. With just 9000BTU (the larger AC units came out two weeks after my purchase) this ...

Good purchase

Good for small rooms

I bought this unit hoping to cool a 16x16 living room by day and an 11x11 bedroom at night. It did the bedroom well, but just couldn't keep up with the living room, and I returned the unit after a few days. With the unit running all day, the temp in my...

Great Product

I've bought this unit around 2005-06-15. I was amazed at how nice the finish of this product is. I had tried a Danby previously, which I returned because the unit was defective, and it didn't felt a bit as solid as the Sharp one. As opposed to the ...

"LIBRARY QUIET"

First it uses a simple vent through the window design. It is truly portable, it has wheels to roll the unit, weighs about 90 lbs, and requires minimal window area for its vent. We've already had 3 days of 90 degree weather, yesterday being 94 degrees ...

Library Quiet, No bucket to empty, timer, no noticeable power drain.
