terrific little air cooler

This little cooler helped tremendously in my upstairs bedroom (10 x 10) where it can literally get up to 100 degrees inside. I would turn it on at night about an hour before heading to bed, and it cooled the room down significantly. I also like the...

Cool and easy

I bought this unit to help with this recent hot spell we're enduring in California. Local stores haven't carried fans and other coolers since May, so I had to order online. It arrived the NEXT day, even though I hadn't paid extra. It cools you if you...

Good idea, but this one is not worth it.

Definitely didn't work for us. Couldn't even tell it was on unless you sat right in front of it. I wouldn't recommend it.

So Glad I Bought This For My Husband's Office!!

Our two front rooms of the house get direct sunlight and as a result our central air doesn't cool them. My husband has complained for years. So for Father's Day, I purchased him this cooler. Best gift I could have ever bought him!!! He loves it. It...

We have a small bath without an AC vent and this unit has made a comfortable difference.

This product came ready to fill. Shortly after filling we noticed a leak. We found that the valve beneath to release the water from the unit was not sufficiently tightened. We tightened it and added plumber's tape which stopped the leak. Problem...

has more features than exspected, it's a good buy

the swing feature moves like a fan to cover more area, the cool feature works like a humidifier and helps me breathe better on bad days. has a longer power cord, so I don't have to keep changing where it's plug at.

Does what I needed it for

I bought this to cool my hens during the hot desert summer. Since the chicken cage is outdoors and isn't enclosed, I can't rate its ability to cool an area off, but when the hens stand in the path of the blower, and it works great for that purpose.

Fantastic Cooler

I really do Love this Evaporative Air Cooler. I put ice in it and it cools it right down. I have had to move it away from me because it gets so cold at times. Best buy I have made in years.

Product Specifications

This Evaporative Air Cooler, Humidifier, and Fan is versatile, lightweight and economical. The Cooler easily rolls from room to room for use anywhere in your house or office. This Air Cooler shoots a stream of air with oscillating louvers, to evenly distribute refreshing cool air. Can also be used as a fan or humidifier if temperature is not an issue. The remote control allows you to easily change settings. The Air Cooler works by endothermic reaction (a reaction that consumes heat), so this evaporative Air Cooler sucks air through a wick saturated with water. As the air flows through the wick, some of the water evaporates into the air, consuming the heat that was in the air. An air stream is then blown out the front of the unit and is considerably cooler than the current room temperature! This is not an air conditioner and therefore uses much less energy. The unit works well in dry climates; not very effective in areas with high humidity as the unit utilizes water to cool.
