Does what it says and cools room

Like all units its like having a jumbo jet in the room. In retrospect I should have got the weather proof one and stuck it outside with pipes coming in. Because of the noise I will only use it when VERY hot

Still quite noisy, but they all are! Exhaust tube is very large diameter and not very long. I have a 10,000 BTU model from another manufacturer and the exhaust tube is smaller and longer.

It is noisy and maybe the fan could be slower and quieter on 'low' The drain plug is so low, it's very difficult to avoid spillages when draining without either lifting the unit (which is heavy) or standing it on a block to give some clearance....
