Windchaser PAC9 Portable Air Conditioner Review A short-lived product

Should have bought the window-mounted option...

Didn't burn my house down...?

NOISE, inefficiency, short lived, low value solution...

Better products out there

I purchased the Pac9R model (comes with remote) to supplement the central air conditioning for a 3rd floor room. This 3rd floor becomes extremely hot during the summer months because the central unit isn't strong enough to cool it, and I needed...

Attractive design. Remote a plus.

Too loud when compressor is running. Have to manually empty reservoir too often.
