Not a bad Product

Overall this is worth the money and is great product if yow want to split you audio drivers into to and even monitor both at the same time. Remember you can always get a cable to hooke you primary sound card into the actual mixer it self.

Has phantom power for electric guitars and microphones or whatever else you want to hoop up to it. Has a Solid base, not made out of plastic. Drivers install them self on Windows 7

The instructions are kind of limited when it comes to settings and recording with the Microphone you can hear this kind of hiss or hum sound. I reduced this sound by using ASIO 4 all drivers in Sonar X1 producer edition. But i have looked similar...

In general, I like it, but it has warts. The biggest issue, which was mentioned differently in other reviews was the hum & noise when you're monitoring a live recording through headphones. The weird thing is that this noise doesn't appear on the...

Very noisy circuitry

As far as features and price, this seemed like an excellent deal. Connected via USB, WinXP detected it and all was installed without any external drivers etc. Everything is labeled clearly. The footprint is half the size of a 13" laptop. Decent metal...

I bought this small usb interface/mixer (Alesis Multimix 4) to allow me to digitize a set of cassette tapes (interviews and other research materials), and to be able to add voice over introductory comments using a dynamic microphone. I'd read reviews...

So far so good.

Im loving this so far. Only made a few basic recordings from dynamic mikes and guitar inputs. Not sure how well the phantom power will be but I dont anticipate any problems. The only thing I wish is that this had included software.

I thought it was the answer to adding a microphone into my realtek sound card while doing podcasts and streaming movies for people to watch on a BlogTV channel, sadly it appears I needed a better sound card to add a microphone directly into my computer...

This is an excellent little mixer for recording via the USB port on to a computer. Perfect for recording a voiceover or putting music on to a video sound track.

My daughter had been plugging a microphone into her laptop to record songs but now has a (passive) pick-up for her guitar which she has been trying to use in the same way. Matching wasn't so good so I went looking for a small mixer, preferably one...
