Linn Klimax DS

So what is the Klimax DS? Um, it's a bit hard to explain. It's sort-of a DAC, and it's sort-of a network music device, but it's not quite what either term brings to mind. But it does sound magnificent

Re-written on September 4, 2009: Not that it will be helpful to anyone, as this stereo is not on the market anymore, but why now. I had it for about 5 years now, maybe even more. At first I would always listen to CD's, and 5CD Changer with MP3 support...

This is one tough cable. My wife coiled this one up like any old cable when we were moving, and when we got to the new place I figured there was no chance it would work, but it did. That's pretty rare for optical cabling.
