Very cute system, but the sound quality is not all that great. I tested it against my other mini system, and the sound doesn't even come close to my old one. It doesn't have the ability to hook up other(better) speakers, which is a big deterrant.

Price was my first consideration. High-quality sound was the second. CD-R/RW compatibility was third. Multiple CD capacity was fourth. AM/FM tuner, fifth. Remote control, last. And the winner is...Panasonic SC-PM31 Reading the other reviews of this...

This system looks and sounds great, fits into a small area, and is priced very economically. It's great to have a 5 CD changer, too! I definitely count it as a worthwhile buy.

Sorry, People, but you get what you pay for. The speakers come connected to the wires so you don't have much leeway in terms of placement...you can only stretch them "so far" from the receiver. Tinny sound, especially when you click to Surround Sound...

It's great. It's neat and pretty and plays with a surporisingly good quality for such a little thing - although it is quite deep, so make sure your shelf can accommodate it.
